It can be tedious working with conventional models that use hand or foot pumps, which raise the load incrementally, because standard hydraulic cylinders can only extend quickly and with air assistance when not under load. In addition, heavy components must be handled carefully when lowering and maneuvering to prevent accidents.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The solution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To solve these problems, the team at Bott found an innovative solution: The hydraulic pump is powered by a standard cordless screwdriver. This approach makes the system independent of the compressed air network and enables a power-saving, fast lift under load. We developed a special cylinder unit that functions reliably even under maximum load. In addition, pedals for precise lifting and lowering have also been added to allow hands-free operation. Further optimization allowed us to adapt the cylinder unit so that even asymmetric loads and the resulting lateral forces can be handled safely.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The smart advantage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final model significantly exceeds the original requirements: It lifts off-center transmissions weighing up to 600 kg to a height of 2000 mm and remains stable thanks to its lowered center of gravity. A specially designed chassis ensures high maneuverability.
