Because the excavators also had to perform tasks in the open shaft areas, they also had to be equipped with diesel drives. Two drives were therefore needed to feed into the existing onboard hydraulic circuit. And all this with very limited dimensions and tight time constraints.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/><strong>The solution:<br\/><\/strong>A hydraulic unit flanged to the rear of the crawler undercarriage, with two 55 kW electric motors, a weight of 960 kg, and a 250-liter tank. The hydraulics operate all of the excavator functions, including driving, rotating the upper structure in both directions, and controlling the boom with bucket or hydraulic hammer. The main pump operates according to the economical load-sensing principle. A control loop with feedback allows the unit to operate in an energy-efficient manner and avoids generating unnecessary reactive power. The detachable electric unit operates with a completely self-contained oil circuit that can be quickly switched on and off.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/><strong>The smart advantage:<br\/><\/strong>Implementation of an exceptional project in the shortest possible time through short decision-making processes and close cooperation with the client.
