Until now, there have only been test setups where the expensive test drive shaft was also destroyed when the clutch failed. A new concept for the test setup should curb this costly side effect.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/><strong>The solution:<br\/><\/strong>A hydrodynamically bearing-supported, freely suspended shaft, surrounded by an oil-filled lubrication gap of only 0.15 mm. The bearing housing is spherical in design so that, if the test piece bursts, the shaft has room to move without colliding with the bearing. To lubricate all bearing points, two hydraulic power units with a total oil capacity of 700 liters supply the system. With 24.5 kW of drive power, the optimally conditioned oil is reliably supplied to every lubrication point. For safety reasons, all functions are electronically monitored. Even when no electrical power is available, four hydropneumatic pressure accumulators reliably supply the bearing points with<br\/>medium. In the event of a power failure, the stored oil is forced into the hydraulic circuit and lubricates all bearing points until the shaft has come to a safe standstill.<br\/><br\/><strong>The smart advantage:<br\/><\/strong>Customer review: &#8220;Thanks to the close cooperation between us and Bott, we were able to develop and implement this optimal solution in a short time.
